We’re excited about Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace initiative, that will get detailed during this week’s CTIA show, but is a “way too cool” commercial the ideal method of advertising it? Here is the video in the question:


Yes, Windows Marketplace does have a lot of neat features, the developers are thrilled with it and we love the full-refund in case you don’t like the apps, but when corporate meets “coolness”, you’ll be as bored as people usually are during a BlackBerry ad.

Seems like we’re back to the silly Seinfeld ads, or even worse, to a mere Powerpoint presentation gone video…
