Xiaomi has expanded its battery replacement program in China to include the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Redmi K70 and Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. The replacement packs use silicon-carbon battery technology, allowing Xiaomi to fit more capacity into the phones’ existing physical battery space without changing their enclosures.

  • Xiaomi 14: 4,795 mAh replacement battery, up from the original 4,610 mAh capacity.
  • Xiaomi 14 Pro: 5,140 mAh replacement battery, up from 4,880 mAh.
  • Redmi K70: 5,220 mAh replacement battery, up from 5,000 mAh.
  • Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro: 4,930 mAh replacement battery, up from 4,700 mAh.

For the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, the upgraded battery service is priced at 189 yuan. A 20% promotion running from October 1 through October 7 reduces that cost to 151.2 yuan. Xiaomi says service for the Xiaomi 14 series begins on October 1.

The capacity gains range from roughly 4% on the Xiaomi 14 to about 5.3% on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Actual endurance will still depend on battery health before replacement and individual usage, but the higher-density cells could extend the useful life of compatible devices.

The program is currently limited to China, and Xiaomi has not announced expansion to other markets.
