Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Band 4 in China, updating its entry-level fitness tracker line with a 60Hz display and a claimed battery life of up to 21 days. The new model succeeds the 2024 Redmi Band 3 and is priced at roughly $25 in its home market.

The Redmi Band 4 uses a unibody design with a metallic-textured frame, 2.5D curved cover glass and a 1.47-inch screen. Its vertically textured strap has a revised pin fastening system intended to hold the band more securely during exercise. The tracker is rated to 5 ATM for water resistance, allowing it to be used while swimming.

Battery life is rated at up to 21 days, compared with the 18-day claim for the Redmi Band 3. Xiaomi says regular health monitoring reduces that figure to around eight days.

The band also supports message notifications, alarms and watch-face changes. In China, it can handle QR-code payments through WeChat and Alipay, but it appears to drop NFC support. That would be a notable change from the Redmi Band 3, which offered NFC for offline payments in China.
