Xiaomi failed to get the last place on the podium of smartphone makers last year, but in 2016 they’re bringing the big guns to surpass Huawei. They already have the very solid Xiaomi Mi 5 and now they’re prepping the mega phablet Mi Max, that will come on May 10th. Before that happens we get one more leak.

This phablet was leaked in GFXBench, which aside from benchmarking the device, also lists its specifications. This device has a 6.4 inch screen mentioned here with a Full HD resolution, in spite of the rumors saying it’ll be a Quad HD one. Also interesting is the fact that the smartphone appears here with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

That goes against what we previously heard, with talks of a Snapdragon 820 CPU and 4 GB of RAM inside. Finally, GFXBench lists a 16 megapixel back shooter and a 5 MP selfie cam, which is pretty OK. We could see several versions of the Mi Max launched, but the discrepancies among specs seem too big. What do you think of this midrange package?
