Not to be outdone by their rivals, the folks of Lenovo, or better said their sub-brand ZUK have come up with a curved edge smartphone, that has leaked a few times so far and today it pops up again, this time in a live shot. Here’s the live picture of the narrow bezel model:
Already certified by TENAA in China, the handset has some very solid specs, like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage and a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, as well as a 13 megapixel back camera and an 8 MP front shooter. There’s a 3000 mAh battery on board and the whole setup is going to get a very affordable price of a mere $390.
In spite of the name, the ZUK Edge doesn’t exactly show its curved edges, certainly unlike the Galaxy S7 Edge for example, or its many copycats. It’s true that the bezel is also narrow at the bottom and top, a feat hard to achieve nowadays by many device makers. That glossy facade has me worried about a plastic body, though…
