Samsung just released two new smartphones for the Chinese market, part of the Galaxy On series. They are meant to fight the likes of Xiaomi and other affordable handset brands and come with a price as low as $125 for the 5 inch unit and $170 for the 5.5 inch model.

Samsung Galaxy On5 is a 5 inch handset with a 720p resolution and 8 megapixel main camera, as well as a 5 MP front shooter. The Galaxy On7 takes it up a notch, with a 13 MP back camera, but keeps the front cam res. Both models share a quad core Exynos 3475 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM, as well as 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

A welcome feature are the dual SIM slots on board, with 4G LTE connectivity. Buyers in China will also be have access to Milk Music, Samsung’s music Internet radio service, a sort of rival for Apple Music. We should also mention that the Galaxy On7 has a 3000 mAh battery and the Galaxy On5 a 2600 mAh one. Incredible prices, really!
