The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been subjected to a drop test somewhere in Asia, as shown by the video below. Many people have rushed to call it fake, although it seems pretty legit to me.

The S6 and S6 Edge are coming to stores on April 10th and considering they use so much glass, everyone wants to know just how resilient they are. After all, both models feature metal chassis sandwiched between two Gorilla Glass 4 plates. Sadly, the clip below is a low res one, so there’s no way of telling if minor defects didn’t occur because of the drop.

Overall, the S6 Edge seems functional after being violently thrown on the floor twice. We will surely see more drop tests of the sort and I’d like to see the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge being dropped on a set of marble stairs, on concrete or from about 2 meters in height. Plus, we can’t help but wonder if they will blend…
