Xiaomi has introduced its TV S Pro RGB-Mini LED 2027 television range in China, led by a 98-inch model and a claimed peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The lineup is Xiaomi’s first to use RGB Mini LED backlighting, with separate red, green and blue light sources rather than a conventional white backlight paired with color filters.
Xiaomi says the approach enables 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space and can reduce power consumption by about 30% in scenes dominated by a single color compared with its 2026 generation. The TVs also use an anti-reflective layer that Xiaomi rates at 1.8% reflectivity.
All four models pair 4K resolution with a native 180Hz refresh rate, VRR, MEMC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, including one with eARC, alongside Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet and USB. Xiaomi lists a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and HyperOS 4.
The set also includes a millimeter-wave radar sensor designed to detect viewer positioning and adjust the image. Audio is handled by a 130W 2.1.2-channel system with upward-firing speakers, an integrated subwoofer and Harman tuning.
