Alcatel just unveiled a new handset, a 6 inch device with a bunch of cover accessories that sound really interesting. The newcomer is dubbed Alcatel One Touch Hero and it’s supposed to hit the market in October with a pretty hefty price.

Its specs include a 13 megapixel back camera, 2 MP front camera and 8 or 16 GB of storage. We’ve also got a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and Alcatel plans to sell a Bluetooth phone accessory as well, plus a TV Link video adapter for a pico projector. The accessories that really interest us are a bunch of covers for the handset’s screen.

One of them is an E Ink covert that allows you to read books without using the main 6 inch LCD 1080p screen. The other is a MagicFlip cover with LED notifications and another extra is a wireless charging cover.
