After a long time with no launch events at all, today Alcatel announced a new smartphone device called OneTouch Conquest, a water-resistant phone that runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. This device is being sold for just $130 off contract, a pretty interesting price.

Alcatel OneTouch Conquest brings a 5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels) with Dragontrail Glass protection, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, LTE connectivity, 1 GB of RAM memory and 8 GB space of internal storage. A microSD card slot is also available for this model.

This phone offers a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel selfie sensor and a 2.500 mAh battery. Beside this one, Alcatel also revealed another smartphone called Elevate, a $100 phone that brings in the pack a 4.5 inch display (400 x 854 pixels), a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 Gz, LTE, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-mpx front-facing sensor and a 2.000 mAh battery.
