Good news for owners of the top notch Android smartphones of this year, HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II. It appears that they will receive their Android Ice Cream Sandwich updates in Spring, if the info from Bell is to be believed. There’s proof in the image below:

Previously manufactures such as Sony Ericsson, HTC, LG, Samsung and Motorola promised to deliver ICS as soon as possible. The Nexus S already had its share of ICS so that means in 6 weeks from now Motorola will offer Android 4.0 on the Droid RAZR and Xoom tablet, as promised. Meanwhile, Bell brings us some dates for the update of its handsets. HTC Sensation will be the first Bell phone updated, in February 2012, while HTC Raider will follow in March and Samsung Galaxy S II in April.

LG Optimus LTE is also on the list, but its update time frame hasn’t been disclosed. Samsung and HTC are known for delays in the release of Android updates, so don’t be surprised if this drags on till next summer, ok? Hopefully, Motorola will do a better job, since they’re owned by Google, after all.
