Apple Watch Series 12 introduces Audio Intelligence, a feature designed to alert users to important ambient sounds and automatically generate conversation summaries through the new Siri app. Apple also rates the smartwatch for up to 24 hours of battery life in normal use, rising to 38 hours in Low Power Mode.

The Series 12 is offered in 42mm and 46mm case sizes, with GPS/Wi-Fi-only and Cellular configurations. Case material options include aluminum, titanium and ceramic. Aluminum finishes are bronze, black, gold and gray; titanium comes in gold and natural finishes; and ceramic is available in beige and blue.

Apple’s S11 chip powers the new watch, alongside an updated heart-rate sensor that can measure heart rate every five seconds. Health additions include a 0-to-10 Readiness score for assessing physical exertion, plus a Health Age feature in the redesigned Health app. Health Age estimates the body’s biological age using VO₂ max, heart-rate variability and sleep quality.
