MSI is marking its 40th anniversary with the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, an 18-inch flagship gaming laptop built around Intel’s Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory. Shown at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the special edition pushes the Titan line further into desktop-replacement territory with a demonstrated configuration carrying 96GB of RAM and 4TB of storage.
The system supports up to 270W of combined power and uses a vapor-chamber cooling solution designed for its high-end components. Its 18-inch Mini LED display has a 3,840 x 2,400 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
MSI has given the anniversary model a design based on Draco, the Dragon constellation. The theme extends from the wallpaper to an engraved lid and an RGB-lit glass area surrounding the haptic touchpad. With the lighting disabled, the touchpad is intended to blend into the glass surface; activating the illumination reveals the Draco motif.
The Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic also includes a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile switches and per-key RGB lighting controlled through SteelSeries software. MSI is pairing the notebook with dragon-themed accessories, including a mouse and mousepad.
The model serves as MSI’s anniversary showpiece alongside its broader IFA 2026 lineup, which also includes the Claw 8 EX AI+, new Raider and Crosshair gaming laptops, and AI-focused systems. MSI has not confirmed pricing or release timing for the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic.
