The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe has received a Special Edition recently, with extra special specs, that we unboxed for you below. This model comes with 128 or 256 GB of storage and it stands out through a beautiful and fashionable design. The handset is priced at around $400 on Amazon.

This device is available here in the ZE551ML version and inside the box we found the headphones, plugs for them, charger, USB cable and manual, plus an extra back case. The main case is a multi faceted one, with 3D effects and triangles that look like diamonds sticking out of the smartphone. ASUS claims the design is inspired by supercars and that’s also reflected in the black and red UI.

ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition measures 10.9 mm in thickness and weighs 170 grams. Inside we find the new Intel Atom Z3590 processor, as well as 4 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The screen here is a 5.5 incher with Full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. At the back there’s a 13 MP camera and upfront there’s a 5 MP shooter.

This is a dual SIM phone, with a microSD card slot and Android Lollipop as the OS. The battery here is a 3000 mAh unit and ASUS bundled the game Asphalt 8 with 24.000 free coins. This is positioned as a high end, fashion phone with a penchant for gaming. We’ll be back with a full review soon.  The updated price is here.
