We know about the BlackBerry Z10 and the Q10, also we’ve heard about a rumored R series model, but here comes the mystery Z5 model to baffle us. This is supposed to be a midrange device, with BlackBerry 10 OS on board, that’s just been outed by the folks of Mobilissimo.

The handset adopts a rounded design, with a slightly elevated edge that seems to be made of plastic, judging by that closeup. If I can speculate on its specs, this model could pack a 4 inch display, 16 GB or 8 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a dual core processor, probably a Snapdragon one. I also expect a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel camera.

It would be nice if LTE was present on board, as well as NFC and perhaps even TimeShift can make the cut in the camera options. With so many phone makers adopting Qualcomm CPUs out there, I wonder if there’s enough room for BlackBerry or they’ll switch to the hip alternative Intel anytime soon…
