If you’re looking for a fancy phone that incorporates a mechanical mechanism, you can check out the Celsius Tourbillon device pictured below. This is a $275,000 piece of work that has a very impressive full name: Celsius X VI II Micro-Mechanical Remontage Papillon Tourbillon.

The handset was created by French design house Celsius X VI II and it comes with 547 mechanical components, making this a work of art, rather than a common device. Once open the handset activates the mechanical movement inside, being thus able to wind the mechanism.

We don’t yet know what else this thing is able to do, aside from making phone calls, but it seems we’ll learn more during a show called Basel World 2010, where Celsius Tourbillon will be unveiled.
