Coolpad is one of the most appreciated brands in China, when it comes to handsets and other portable devices and today they debuted a new phone. The device has top notch high end specs and it’s dubbed Coolpad Bodun (V1-C).

The device relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.5 GHz and its display is a pretty big one, at 5.98 inches in diagonal. This model is pretty much a flagship, since it has a Quad HD resolution and a front 5 MP selfie cam. LTE is also in the mix (category 4), plus dual SIM slots and 3 GB of RAM. 32 GB of RAM and a 2500 mAh battery round up the specs list, although I have to say I’m pretty disappointed by the battery.

The product will be sold by China Telecom, a big Chinese operator. As you can see, its Home button has a design that’s familiar, reminding us of the Meizu MX4 Home button. The icons also seem slightly customized, with a small MIUI vibe to them. Wish I knew the price for this newcomer…
