DJI’s next compact Neo-series drone may ship with an RC Mini controller, according to a leaked image said to show the DJI Neo 3’s retail packaging. The image, shared by tipster Igor Bogdanov, also points to a revised airframe with more heavily structured propeller guards.
Compared with the Neo 2, the apparent Neo 3 design uses wheel-like, spoked propeller guards. The rear of the drone also appears to have additional ventilation openings and a new upward-facing sensor. Its purpose is not known.
The controller shown in the leak is labeled DJI RC Mini. Available information indicates it could be a renamed version of the RC Mini AG, a controller introduced in November 2025 for DJI agricultural drones.
- DJI T55
- DJI T70S
- DJI T100S
The RC Mini AG has a 1.97-inch display with a 410 x 494-pixel resolution and 800-nit brightness. It supports OcuSync 4 video transmission at distances of up to 10 km and is rated for around three hours of battery life. It remains unclear whether a Neo 3-oriented RC Mini would retain those same specifications.
DJI has not announced the Neo 3, and the leak does not establish a launch date, full drone specifications, pricing or regional availability. The key detail to watch is whether DJI confirms OcuSync 4 support for the compact model rather than only for the controller it may bundle.
