Launched a couple of days ago, Gionee Elife S5.1 is the world’s new slimmest smartphone, device that manages to measure just 5.15 mm in thickness, with 0.40 mm less than the previous record hold by Gionee Elife S5.5 with a 5.55 mm body. Today we get to know that Gionee Elife S5.1 is now available for pre-order in China through



Gionee Elife S5.1 packs a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a 720p resolution (1.280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Cortex-A7 Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, LTE, a 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.


Other specs include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 , a 2.100 mAh and the Amigo OS applied on top of the Android 4.3 JellyBean operating system. Unfortunately, Gionee Elife S5.1 doesn’t bring a microSD card slot in the package so we should use a cloud storage solution. This device is now available for a $325 price tag in 4 different color variations: black, white, pink and blue.
