Don’t get excited for nothing, as Google hasn’t released a Google Maps with Street View update for Windows Mobile. However, xda-developers member KDKobes managed to get Google Maps 2.3.1 (Java-based) for BlackBerries to work on his HTC Kaiser (AT&T Tilt) with Street View.

You can download and install his version of the software here, but keep in mind that GPS integration and location-data support aren’t supported in this version. However, this is as close as it gets when it comes to running Google Maps with Street View on a Windows Mobile device.

Street View will be available on T-Mobile G1, iPhone/iPhone 3G and new BlackBerries, but Google didn’t announce a WM version of it yet, so we’ll have to manage with what we have right now.
