Last we heard, HTC was readying a Sense UI update, to be present on the Espresso handset model, that got its ROM hacked and messed with. The ROM was then ported onto a HTC Hero and tested, as you can see in the video below. This version seems to be cleaner and we notice a new launcher bar at the bottom, that should come in handy.

Less convincing are the translucent app icon surrounds, but there’s got to be more to this UI than meets the eye. CES 2010 is coming, then MWC 2010, so we’re bound to get more details during these shows, perhaps even witness the release of HTC Espresso.
