A couple of hours before HTC’s big event came a leak of a smartphone that surpasses in specs everything that HTC showcased today. Dubbed as HTC Revolver and seemingly headed to AT&T, this device is considered the new flagship smartphone of the Taiwanese company, if rumors are to be believed.

Q3 is when we’ll be seeing this product on AT&T, according to leaked info. What’s really strange is that the dual core smartphone is listed as running Android Honeycomb, although this platform is reserved for tablets. Leaked specs also include 3G+ support, a 4.3 inch LCD touch display, 16GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM.

This handset is also a premiere, being the first phone with a 3MP front camera, while at the back we find an 8MP sensor. Under the hood there’s a 1.2GHz dual core processor of unknown origin. Well, of course this could be a fake, but if it is, the ones who created it are masters.
