Huawei’s reportedly planned Xingmang smartphone sub-brand could debut in November 2026, according to a new leak. The first handset is said to use a conventional candybar design with a 6.39-inch display that is wider than those on typical smartphones.

The details come from tipster Digital Chat Station, who did not specify the panel’s aspect ratio, resolution or display technology. The device is also rumored to use a Kirin 9000-series processor, suggesting more ambitious hardware than earlier reports that positioned Xingmang as a mid-range brand expected to use Kirin 8-series chips.

Earlier rumors suggested Xingmang could follow a strategy comparable to Huawei’s former approach with HONOR, potentially using HarmonyOS and Huawei’s XMAGE imaging technology while expanding into other electronics categories. Neither detail has been confirmed for the debut phone.

Xingmang is the Chinese name associated with the project; “Starlight” is an English translation rather than necessarily the final commercial branding. Huawei has not announced the device, its price, or whether it will be sold outside China, leaving those details to be clarified ahead of the reported November 2026 launch window.
