Yet another phablet to brighten the day! Lenovo has just announced its very own 5 inch phablet for China, the K860 5 inch unit, with quad core CPU. Lenovo LePhone K860 is also called the Lenovo Music phone and it features Samsung’s 1.4 GHz quad core Exynos processor, that was also borrowed by the latest Meizu phone, if I’m not mistaking.

Specs also include 1 GB of RAM, a 2,250 mAh battery and an 8 megapixel camera capable of 100 continuous shots. The OS on board here is Android 4.0 ICS and since I mentioned the processor above, I must say it’s the same one used on the Galaxy S III, so it’s a big deal. Although the device is not as big as the Galaxy Note, it gets a 5 inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and also we have here a front 2 megapixel camera.

All of that is fit into a 9.6mm thick chassis and strangely there’s no mention of a stylus, although it would have been cool to get one. No idea what the pricing of this model will be and if it will manage to reach the shops before the Galaxy Note 2, but I’m sure it will be cheaper than the new Samsung phablet.
