Announced back in February at MWC and not yet launched in USA, the LG Optimus F7 handset is part of a series that aims at bringing LTE and good specs into a more midrange price range. The device has just been leaked via the US Cellular carrier, as proved by their documents that hit the web.

The handset keeps its HD 4.7 inch display and comes with LTE connectivity, a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. This phone adopts the usual rectangular styling of LGs and measures 9.6 mm in thickness. An interesting aspect is the presence of a physical Home button upfront, that makes it feel a bit like a Samsung.

LG Optimus F7 also packs in a microSD card slot, 8 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. It should run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it has a Li-Ion 2540 mAh battery, that’s not bad at all for the rest of the specs. No idea when this model will arrive or what the price will be, but I’m sure US Cellular will have a nifty offer in place when they launch it.
