The LG Optimus G2 has leaked before, but only in minor benchmarks or blurry shots. This time things are different, as we get to see the device in action in the video below and pictured in some hands on shots after the break.

The edge to edge display and back volume buttons are confirmed and it’s interesting to notice that in the pictures the back area seems to be glossy glass, while in the video it’s more like metal. The G2 is expected to be announced early next month and it seems to adopt much of the Nexus 4 rounded design. Notice the virtual Android buttons here, that make us think of a Nexus phone.

LG Optimus G2 is supposed to feature a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a very small bezel, a 13 megapixel camera and a Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz processor. 2 GB of RAM should be on board and apparently, the glossy chassis version is coming to Sprint. The UI on top of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean looks a lot like Optimus UI 3.0 from the Optimus G, but it may be a newer version. The handset looks really hot, I have to say, aside from the controversial volume buttons.
