A Nokia N9 unit with Android is what many people are dreaming of these days, especially with the handset getting a lot of praise from the press and experts. Well, something similar is about to take off… a LG handset with an almost identical design that makes me think of potential lawsuits from Nokia: LG Prada K2.

This is the third model in the Prada series from LG and the first was among the first, if not the real first phone with a touchscreen display. LG Prada K2 is supposed to run Gingerbread and sport a waistline of under 9mm. IT’s got a 4.3 inch NOVA display of the new generation with over 1,000 nits of brightness that’s certainly an important achievement. Add to that an 8 megapixel camera, a 1.3MP cam upfront and HSDPA+ radio and you’ll all set.

Prada K2 is supposed to use a dual core processor of unknown origin of frequency and as far as launch goes, that’s expected something this quarter. I really can’t shake the feeling that this is a Nokia N9 clone, but maybe it’s just me or it’s the fault of the angle used to photograph the handset.
