MSI’s Cyborg 15 Max C2W places Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop graphics in the company’s entry-level gaming lineup. The highest-end C2WG configuration pairs the 8GB GDDR7 RTX 5070 with an Intel Core 7 240H processor, with the GPU rated at up to 100W.
The 15.6-inch machine uses a Full HD IPS-Level display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. Memory is upgradeable through two slots, supporting up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, while two M.2 slots accommodate PCIe Gen4 SSDs.
MSI has revised the cooling system with two fans and three heat pipes. The company says the fans can be up to 27% larger than before, while APEX Mode allows a combined CPU and GPU power budget of up to 140W. That figure is distinct from the RTX 5070’s stated 100W GPU limit.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1 and a USB-C port with DisplayPort output and USB Power Delivery support of up to 100W. The laptop has a 60Wh battery; the 100W specification refers to supported USB-C charging rather than battery capacity.
The Cyborg 15 Max remains below MSI’s Crosshair, Raider and Titan families, with the 1080p 144Hz panel and 60Wh battery reflecting its lower position in the range. Not every configuration carries the RTX 5070, however: MSI also lists RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 Laptop GPU options.
MSI is also positioning compatible RTX 50-series laptops for its AI Robot feature, developed with Nvidia ACE. The local language model can adjust MSI Center and Windows settings through natural-language requests, including performance and fan controls. Availability may vary by region, and MSI has not detailed Cyborg 15 Max C2W pricing or release timing.
