OnePlus is hard at work on the successor of the acclaimed One handset, that was considered by many the best phone of 2014. OnePlus Two is now rumored to feature a fingerprint scanner that’s better than the one of the iPhone.

We already knew some bits and pieces about the upcoming OnePlus flagship, but today we learn more. We do know it’s coming with a higher price tag than the predecessor, to justify its premium specs, but it will be lower priced than the big brand flagships. A person familiar with the situation claims that there will be surprises in the hardware area on the new model.

OnePlus Two is also said to adopt a metal frame and it’ll be more customizable, courtesy of the StyleSwap covers. The new phone will probably get the Snapdragon 810 processor inside, 3 GB of RAM or more and a camera with OIS, as well as a solid front facing camera. A Quad HD resolution is also in the cards. I wonder if its fingerprint sensor will be a touch or swipe one…
