Apple’s so close to generating a brand new scandal… After disputing with Adobe over the adoption of Flash technology and with Google over the Google Voice service, it’s Opera Software’s time to have an argument with Apple. It hasn’t happened yet, but let’s see how long it takes the Opera Mini for iPhone browser to get approved into the App Store.

In the meantime, let’s have a look at a video comparison between Safari Mobile and Opera Mini for iPhone:

Both browsers are tested while accessing the ESPN.com website, with the Opera Mini browser clearly performing better than Apple’s product. Will the Cupertino giant show fair play and speed up the approval process of Opera’s great browser or will they drag the thing around forever?

There’s always Cydia and jailbroken iPhones, plus the possible lawsuit, in case Apple rejects the app without a solid reason.
