It appears that Oppo is preparing a new phone for unveiling, the Oppo R9S model, that was recently teased with the image below. Oppo seems to have been focusing on the R and the F series lately and now a certain R9S is believed to be in the works.
It’s expected to debut over the next few weeks and a supposed teaser has been found online. It reads “The Next One?” and also hints at a superior camera, that will be the core of the device. Oppo R9 comes with a potent selfie shooter, with a 16 MP resolution and the R9S is said to be based on the same setup, but add extra software somehow.
The product is rumored to have a Snapdragon 625 processor, the Super VOOC tech, that Oppo unveiled at MWC and possibly 4 GB of RAM. A 13 megapixel main camera should also be in the mix, as well as a Full HD or Quad HD screen.
