It appears that Palm Pre 2 was just the beginning of a series of launches, as Palm and HP prepare to release even more devices in the following months. Chinese trade paper CENS.com quotes industry sources, saying that Foxconn Technology and Compal Communications have contracts with Palm, that involve producing several new devices.

Five and six are numbers being thrown around, referring to units that could debut in 2011. A tablet is also on the list, possibly the famous PalmPad, as well as candybar handsets, keyboard-less slate-like phone, portrait and landscape sliders. Since Palm Pre 2 was considered by some a disappointment, it would be time to step up the game and show some HP influence.
