Vivo is riding on a pretty high horse these days, after having unveiled the world’s first smartphone with a fingerprint scanner integrated within the front panel. After that model we’re prepared to see them tackling the notch design, with the Vivo X30, that has just leaked.

The device’s front panel has just popped up online, leading to all manner of speculation. The iPhone X started the trend and now rumors show that the likes of Vivo and Oppo are working on such designs. We can’t say for sure if this is actually a new version of Vivo X20 or the X30, but the source of the leak insists it’s the X30. The notch here is narrower than the iPhone X one and it integrates just the earpiece and camera sensor.

We also see a bottom bezel which the iPhone X didn’t have. There aren’t any specs for the newcomer just yet, but we’re expecting something high midrange with a more premium price. Vivo X20 came last September, so it’s a bit too early for a successor. Recently we also got the Vivo X20 Plus UD, with in display fingerprint scanner. We take this with a grain of salt and expect to actually see some special sensors in that top area.
