We wrote a few days ago that the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe may even arrive with an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820 CPU, the Snapdragon 821. There was also talk of a Snapdragon 823 version even, but today we have more proof supporting the S821 theory.

The CPU gets mentioned in a pamphlet that details the handset, with its full features, like 6 GB of RAM, 4G LTE Category 14 and USB Type C. It’s written right here, as shown in the image above, that there’s a Snapdragon 821 CPU inside and the Adreno 530, too. Basically, this chip is a merely overclocked Snapdragon 820, jumping from 2.15 GHz to 2.3 GHz.

The bigger jump happens in the case of the Snapdragon 823, said to go all the way to 3 GHz. Rumors also say that the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be available in August, so we expect Qualcomm to make some sort of announcement, before unleashing these chips onto the world.
