Roborock’s F25 Ultra is built for the messes a conventional mop can struggle with: dried spills, greasy kitchen stains and mixed wet-and-dry debris. The cordless floor cleaner pairs 22,000 Pa of suction with separate hot-water and steam modes, while its dock is designed to wash and dry the roller after use.
In testing, the hot-water WaveFlow mode was particularly effective on oil stains on tile, removing them without repeated scrubbing. Roborock says this mode heats water to 86°C and applies it directly to the roller; the company claims a 100% oil-stain removal rate. Steam mode, branded VaporFlow, handled dried jam, milk and canned-bean sauce residue quickly in testing.
The F25 Ultra heats water to 180°C internally for steam cleaning, with steam exiting the appliance at roughly 99°C and reaching no more than 70°C at the floor surface, according to Roborock. The company rates steam output at 2,000 mg/min and claims at least 99.99% removal of bacteria and allergens. It also says the treatment causes no wear to wood surfaces.

Four operating modes cover routine wet-and-dry cleaning, absorbent cleaning for spilled liquids, steam cleaning and hot-water cleaning. In Auto mode, users can adjust suction among Eco, Standard and Turbo levels, set water flow to low, medium or high, and choose the level of powered-wheel assistance. Steam uses Standard suction and medium water flow, while hot-water mode uses Standard suction with high water flow.
Powered wheels are part of Roborock’s SlideTech 2.0 system, which detects whether the vacuum is being pushed or pulled and supplies assistance accordingly. The effect is noticeable in everyday cleaning: the unit moves forward readily once lowered to the floor. FlatReach 2.0 lets it operate nearly flat at a stated 12.5 cm height, allowing it to reach beneath low furniture without a reduction in suction power.
Dock and app controls
The charging dock performs a more substantial cleanup cycle than a basic storage stand. It first clears the dirty-water route, wets the roller, cleans it with bidirectional rotation and centrifugal action, then starts drying. The roller is washed with 180°C steam and 90°C hot water, according to Roborock, which claims 99.99% bacteria removal during the process.
A quick-dry cycle takes five minutes, while a quieter mode takes 30 minutes. Drying is performed at 95°C. The rapid cycle left the roller dry across its surface in testing, although wiping around the water tank and roller area remains advisable to catch small particles that may escape the automated process.

The Roborock app provides controls for self-cleaning, drying and operating-mode settings, along with battery and consumable-status information for the roller and filter. It can also control the vacuum remotely. Setup requires placing the dock on power, then holding the self-cleaning and cleaning-mode buttons for three seconds before connecting the F25 Ultra to local Wi-Fi.
Roborock rates battery life at up to 60 minutes. With its 1-liter clean-water tank filled, the F25 Ultra is rated to cover up to 500 square meters in Auto mode with Eco suction. Those figures will vary with the selected cleaning mode, especially when using steam or hot water.
The package includes the dock, handle, mop roller, power cable, detergent bottle, cleaning brush, an extra filter and documentation. International pricing and availability have not been confirmed in the supplied information. The key question for the F25 Ultra will be how widely Roborock brings its steam-and-hot-water approach to markets where wet-and-dry floor cleaners are increasingly competing on automated maintenance.
