Samsung has opened Samsung Connect in Berlin ahead of IFA 2026, using the event to put its AI ecosystem on display across televisions, gaming monitors, laptops, smartphones and home appliances. The showcase runs from September 2 to 6, ahead of IFA’s September 4–8 dates at Messe Berlin.

The most striking hardware included Samsung’s 115-inch Micro RGB TV, which uses individually controlled microscopic red, green and blue LEDs to target improved colour accuracy and contrast. Samsung also highlighted Vision AI Companion for its 2026 TV range, a conversational interface designed to surface information about on-screen content and provide recommendations without leaving the viewing experience. The company said Samsung TV Plus now exceeds 100 million monthly active users globally.

Gaming displays were another major focus. Samsung showed the 27-inch Odyssey G60H with a 1,100Hz refresh rate, alongside the 42-inch curved 4K OLED Odyssey G75SJ. The lineup also included the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, offering DQHD resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate, and the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8, a UHD QD-OLED model with 360Hz operation and Triple Mode support.

On the PC side, the 14-inch Galaxy Book6 expands the range with Intel Core 3 or Core 5 Series 3 processors rather than Core Ultra chips. Samsung rates the laptop for up to 25 hours of video playback, and it combines a WUXGA LCD with Galaxy ecosystem connectivity. European pricing starts at €849.

Samsung also brought the Galaxy S26 FE to the event following its earlier announcement. The handset is the first Galaxy S26-series model to ship with One UI 9, with Samsung emphasizing Galaxy AI integration and the phone’s photography and editing tools as part of the wider device ecosystem.

The appliance presentation included a 10kg Bespoke AI Washer branded A-70%. Samsung says internal testing found energy use up to 70.2% below the energy-use threshold for Europe’s A energy class when running the Eco 40–60 cycle. That figure is a comparison with the rating threshold, not a claim of 70% lower consumption than every A-rated washing machine.

A 13kg Bespoke AI Washer was also shown with a standard 600mm depth, enabled by Samsung’s SpaceMax design, while both machines feature Auto Open Door to gradually release moisture after a cycle. Samsung describes the washers shown in Berlin as products still under development, leaving their final specifications, launch timing and market availability unresolved.
