Samsung Wave 578 is one of the new Bada OS phones, that was announced back at MWC 2011, but now it also gets a design revamp, ahead of its debut. As shown on the bada website, this model has a rectangular home button, instead of the one it had in February when it was announced.

This button reminds me a lot of the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Ace, honestly. The rest of the specs remain the same, including the Bada OS 1.1, NFC, 3.2 inch WQVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera and front facing VGA cam. The TouchWiz UI is integrated with the OS and you also get Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and a  QuickType keyboard, plus 1200 mAh battery.

The release date for this handset is “soon”.
