The concept phone below addresses this need and it’s the creation of Holland Hume, from Dead Idol Design and Productions.
The handset uses a 3 inch touchscreen display, that shows a full QWERTY keypad, but the device also comes with a standard keypad. The screen of the concept phone opens sideways and can be closed easily with a single finger, while travelling in a crowded environment.
This device uses a widescreen format, so it probably supports mobile TV and top notch video playback. A camera with optical zoom, flash and red eye reduction is also on board.
