Modern technologies in modern times require drastic measures, like learning how to use a mobile phone with one hand only. This ability will come in handy, specially for people who travel to work by bus or subway. The concept phone below addresses this need and it’s the creation of Holland Hume, from Dead Idol Design and Productions.

The handset uses a 3 inch touchscreen display, that shows a full QWERTY keypad, but the device also comes with a standard keypad. The screen of the concept phone opens sideways and can be closed easily with a single finger, while travelling in a crowded environment.

This device uses a widescreen format, so it probably supports mobile TV and top notch video playback. A camera with optical zoom, flash and red eye reduction is also on board.
