After seeing the BlackBerry 8900 handset surfacing in Germany via T-Mobile it’s time to take a glance into the not too remote future, as Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is getting ready to arrive in the US. It’ll land on the Black Friday (November 28th) and you’ll be able to buy it unlocked for $799.99 at Sony Style shops.

Preorders start tomorrow, November 13th, so in case you haven’t been hit by the recession you’ll give the Windows Mobile 6.1 device a try. One of the most promising smartphones of the year, X1 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3D games, video streaming, those hot XPERIA panels, optical joystick navigation, document editors and tons of connectivity options. Among those, you’ll take your pick between aGPS, Bluetooth, modem, USB, WLAN, GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (850/1900/2100).

The handsets’s display is a 800 x 480 touchscreen TFT with a 3 inch diagonal and all of these marvellous specs are completed by a 400MB internal memory plus a microSD memory card slot in case you have no place for your music and business files.
