Even though Sony’s current flagship, the Xperia XZ Premium from MWC 2017 isn’t in the stores yet, there’s already talk about the next flagship. A trio of Xperia phones has leaked today and they are supposed to debut at IFA 2017, taking place in Berlin between September 1st and the 6th.

The event is supposed to bring us the Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1. Those models will have a new generation of camera and high end, plus midrange specs. Xperia XZ1 is said to be the flagship of the lot, with a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 835 CPU and 4 GB of RAM. The handset is also rumored to have a 4000 mAh battery and be dust and water resistant.

Then there’s the Xperia XZ1 Compact, basically a smaller XZ1, with a 4.6 inch Full HD screen, the powerful Snapdragon 835 CPU and 4 GB of RAM. A 2800 mAh battery is present here. Finally, the Xperia X1 brings a 5 inch Full HD screen and this time goes with a Snapdragon 660 midrange processor, plus 4 GB of RAM and a 2800 mAh battery. The new generation of camera is known as “full pixel continuous shoot” and it’s said to offer high pixel continuous shooting.

I also expect bigger pixels than average and high frame rate when filming. We’ll learn more at IFA 2017 and I expect more leaks to come till then.
