T-Mobile chose Twitter as the official channel used to announce the fact that HTC Touch Pro 2 is “coming to a holster near you this summer”. No info on the release date or pricing and still they had characters left.

Rumour has it that we’ll see the handset in stores on August 12, packing a Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz CPU, 512MB of ROM, 288MB of RAM and a 3.6 inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Touch Pro 2 also features a sliding 5 row QWERTY keyboard, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a zoom bar and the famous TouchFLO 3D interface.
