Adobe Premiere is now available on Android, bringing a free mobile video editor with watermark-free exports and no ads. According to Adobe, the app supports editing and exporting video up to 4K, requires Android 13 or later and at least 5GB of RAM.
Core editing does not require a subscription or even an account. Users can import clips, edit them and export finished videos directly from the app. The Google Play listing currently identifies the release as Mobile Early Access.

Adobe is keeping the standard editor free, but its Firefly-powered generative features sit behind a separate credit system and require sign-in. Extra cloud storage and access to some Adobe Stock assets can also carry additional charges.

The Android launch follows the iPhone version by more than a year and extends Adobe’s push to bring Creative Cloud tools to mobile devices, following Photoshop for Android. Premiere’s audio cleanup feature is among the tools aimed at handling quick edits without moving footage to a desktop workflow.
Several editing features are still planned for later updates. Adobe has also said it will add the ability to begin a project on an Android phone and continue it in Premiere on desktop; that handoff is already available on iPhone.
