What’s with all these leaks recently? And we’re not talking about employees getting fired and telling secrets, but rather official company accounts on Facebook or Twitter leak or even CEOs telling the press all they need to know. This time, AT&T posted the launch date of Motorola Olympus on its AT&T Share Facebook page.

This supposed launch date was posted as an answer to a customer’s questions, but it was quickly removed and AT&T commented that the response was an error. “Motorola Olympus should be available in December or January” said the post, so this is at least a confirmation the smartphone is real. We’re talking about a hot dual core Tegra 2 handset here, with Android 2.3, so this is why the info is crucial.

We’re sure Motorola is not at all thrilled by this leak… now let’s see some consequences!
