After ditching the Storm branding for Monaco and Monza at the beginning of the year, the touchscreen BlackBerry shown below might actually be sold under a new name. Insider sources are claiming that the brand “Volt” is being considered, which is certainly a cool choice.

This name is not 100% confirmed yet, but at least we have something to work with. RIM could still choose the Torch brand on the Monaco 9850 and the Monza 9860 and in case you’re not familiar with these versions of the new smartphone, know that they come with a 1.2GHz CPU. There’s also a 3.7 inch touch display on board, a 5MP camera and NFC.
