Although the launch of BlackBerry Torch had us thinking that RIM was over the full touchscreen phase and ready to launch QWERTY/touch combos, here’s the BlackBerry Storm3 model proving us wrong. Recently pictured in a leaked image and detailed a bit, this device is supposedly coming to Verizon this year.

Knowing that the BlackBerry Torch failed to impress, will we be surprised by the new smartphone? Apparently, BlackBerry Storm3 should run BB OS 6, it’ll use a WebKit browser to get you online and a pretty big touchscreen display (4 inch or so). SurePress technology is back, accompanied by a 1GHz CPU and 4G LTE connectivity, courtesy of Verizon.

Storm3 will also be used as a mobile WiFi hotspot and concerning all of these specs, we can only say that they’re speculations for now, but they sound pretty good to us.
