After finding out that Sony Ericsson is working on 12 megapixel cameraphones, word’s out that the shutter bug of these handsets’ cameras has been eliminated with the aid of a technology developed by Scalado. This solution will work by sending the image data directly to the camera’s display, in order to be captured as SpeedTagged JPEG when it’s time to take the photo.

The Scalado Camera Solution is useful for taking instantaneous photos with great quality, but also using real-time preview, pan and zoom. Camera phone sensor and module makers like Aptina or OmniVision Samsung have already shown their interest regarding this technology, so we’ll get lag-free cameraphones in no time.
