Anker has launched the Eufy Video Doorbell S4, a wired video doorbell that lets users explore its panoramic camera feed by moving a phone or wearing a VR headset. Eufy describes it as the first doorbell with VR viewing, though the feature is a way to navigate the captured panorama rather than a 360-degree recording mode. Two-way audio remains available while viewing the scene.
The S4 captures a 180-degree horizontal and 180-degree vertical view, designed to keep both a visitor and packages near the doorstep in frame. Its OmniTrack feature follows a moving subject and automatically adjusts the framing in the Eufy app.

Installation requires an existing 16–24V AC doorbell wiring setup. A small internal battery is intended only as backup power during an outage, not for standalone battery operation. The Video Doorbell S4 is priced at $299.99 in the US; Eufy’s Irish store lists it at €329.99 with a Chime 2. The wired-power requirement is likely to be the main constraint for households considering its panoramic and VR-focused features.
