December 9th was the date when folks tempted by the Geeks Phone One went out and ordered a handset like the one below, only to fail to receive it or have to pay extra cash before it gets shipped. The Geeks Phone company recently posted on its blog that the problems with its online store caused improper billing and loss of info.

The thing is that the blog is in Spanish and the English translation doesn’t do much justice to the text. As we get it, it might be that Geeks Phone will pay you back if you spent too much cash on their product… or the other way around.

It’s an overcharging issue any way you put it and we’re really surprised that the company didn’t even bother to post an explanation of their problems in English. Talk about professionals…
