China will finally be getting a batch of pure HTC handsets, without Dopod branding. Among the newcomers you can find the Desire and Wildfire models, apparently both coming with Android 2.2 Froyo preloaded, which is good news for Chinese users.
This piece of info also means that HTC Wildfire and HTC Desire versions in Europe will also get Froyo at some point during the current year. The two devices we mentioned will be accompanied by HTC Tianxi and Tianyi as the first batch of HTC phones in China.
