WMExperts has the scoop of the day, revealing Verizon’s Touch Diamond2 and details regarding the Mega and Tachi HTC smartphones. The handset in the image below is HTC Touch Diamond2, the Verizon version, a Windows Mobile 6.1 device that can probably be upgraded to WM 6.5.
Diamond2 supports GSM and CDMA connectivity, comes with a 3.6 inch WVGA touchscreen display, GPS, A-GPS, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, a 528 MHz Qualcomm 7600 CPU, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM. Expect this phone to hit the stores in September/October.
HTC Mega is another one of the smartphones revealed by WMExperts, a WM 6.5 handset with TouchFLO 2D on board, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, GPS, a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display and a 3 megapixel camera.
A 528 MHz Qualcomm 7225 CPU is running the show under the case, accompanied by 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM. Mega is pictured above and we turn to the last handset we’ve uncovered, HTC Tachi (pictured below), that will be sold in China via China Telecom, bearing the Dopod brand.
